Alan is the driving force behind Piggy Blinders. With over 30 years in senior management and sixteen years running a highly regarded fall protection company, he decided to put his experience into a company with a very different focus. The ‘theatre’ of Hog Roast.

Exceptional delivery is at the forefront of his mind with that demonstrated through the professionalism of service, the quality and value of product and the dedication to our guests. This approach echoing what he has achieved elsewhere.

Alan has consistently formed relationships with companies, and people, that are able to deliver to an exceptionally high standard and that is what is being achieved now.

Alan is an avid fan of the hit BBC TV series ‘Peaky Blinders’ identifying strongly with Tommy Shelby but also with the strong characters, both men and women within the show. Values from yesteryear still relevant today in an age very different from the earlier part of the 20th century.

Lee Riley

Chief Hogmaster

Lee is our Chief Hogmaster and has been with the team since the beginning of Piggy Blinders. Much of the original hard work in proving that our hog roast could be done with a difference was down to his input.

He is is a professionally trained chef with years of experience within the catering industry and has held a range of challenging head chef roles.

Chief Hog Master has presented its only unique challenges. Very early starts to get the hogs on the go, organisation of the catering menus, careful selection of the best produce are some of the skills he has brought to the team.

Lee is training our team as well on how to carve, serve and remain safe.

His steady, calm yet fun-filled approach to running an event which provides delicious, perfectly delivered food has reduced the nerves of some of the other team members when the pressure has been on. ‘ We have got this!’, have been the steadying words, many a time

Alison Longhurst

Event Planner and Party Host

Alison is our events planner and party host taking care of you through the initial enquiry phases of your event to the eventual delivery of an immersive, entertaining day with all the ‘Piggy’ style and finesse engaging all your guests.

She has an eye for detail and an artistic flair that will bring your events to life.  She loves the fashion of the Peaky Blinders era and enjoys bringing a uniquely stylish feel to our events through her own outfits and helping to design the look of the rest of the Piggy Blinders team.

She also deals with the practicalities and problems that can arise during the planning of the event. Her aim, as with all of the team, is to reduce the stress involved in planning your day, whether it be a wedding, birthday party or festival.

Alison always welcomes your input, after all it is your day and by working with our guests, she will help add that touch of class that will leave all your guests impressed.

Ray Brenner

Development Chef 

Ray is our very own award-winning development chef having gained national recognition for the Pub Restaurant Chef of the Year Award at the Craft Guild of Chefs.

He has over 25 years of experience within the catering industry running restaurants and had a hugely successful time at The Chequers in Eversley Cross.

His passion for simple, quality ingredients and food cooked the right way has helped drive our company to its well run and highly delivered standards. Listening to him reminiscing about meals with his family, when he was younger and how they shaped his love of food has been both a delight and an inspiration to the team.

Ray also believes using the best local ingredients is the way to a sustainable future, cutting out airmiles and excess packaging where possible. Environmental sustainability is important to us, and he is leading us by example.

With so much room to grow, Ray is excited to see just how far Piggy can go…

Rebecca Brenner

Digital Marketing & Photography

Rebecca has been with us since the beginning of launching Piggy Blinders, supporting us with all angles of our digital marketing.

Prior to setting up ‘Moyralla Marketing‘, Rebecca previous role was marketing manager for a hospitality group and she has many years of experience within the catering industry.

She has been using the knowledge she gained during that time to help fine tune, the unique style and branding that we are so proud of.

Additionally, Rebecca is also a keen photographer and launched Moyralla Photography in 2020. You will see many of her photos displayed across our Piggy website and her eye for unique viewpoints has helped to collect some of the memories that we have created at events and show them to those visiting our website and our events.

In Rebecca’s spare time, she can usually be found running around after her 2 young boys, travelling or enjoying delicious food and drink!
